Because she recognizes the importance of continued learning, she keeps current in fitness and Pilates studies by attending seminars and workshops in the U.S. and abroad with some of the most distinguished and recognized Pilates and movement educators in the world.
Paola strongly believes in the Pilates method having experienced it first as a client and a passionate instructor now.
The core foundational principle that guides her work is that Pilates is a prerequisite for a healthy life. This is achieved through body awareness and healthy movement.
Without Pilates, we develop imbalanced postures and dysfunctional movement. Pilates is not only an effective form of fitness, but a way to develop functional neurological patterns that affect both the body and mind.
Since these neurological patterns are developed at a very young age and impact our health and performance our entire lives, it is vital to begin practicing the Pilates method during childhood. Therefore, Paola teaches custom-tailored classes for kids.
