Pilates for Kids

InForma Pilates is committed that your child has a safe place to have fun and expand his/her health and well being. Pilates for Kids is a weekly mat class open to kids between 8 and 13 years old. (Max 5 kids per class)

  • Physical Fitness. Children develop a strong core, good posture, balance, flexibility, and coordination.
  • Cognitive Fitness. The practice of Pilates heightens mind-body awareness and improves academic learning and attention to schoolwork.
  • Emotional Fitness. Focused breathing techniques can help children attain a serene and less stressful outlook and increase self-esteem.

Guidelines to Maximize Class Time

  • We begin class on time. We strongly recommend that children come prepared for class by avoiding large meals two hours prior to class.
  • Please have them bring a water bottle to class. Hydration is important while exercising. We encourage water consumption throughout the class.
  • Each class builds on the previous class. Make every effort to avoid missing sessions. If you know you will miss a session, let us know as soon as possible.
  • To help the students remain focused, we recommend you wait outside the studio while class is in session. We encourage you to ask your children about their experience after class.
